Our Founders
Shinto John
Shinto John is a founder chairman and chief functionary of Cancer Care Foundation. He is postgraduate in Social Work (MSW) from Pune university. Over the years there has been experience of managing various types of projects, funded by Government, national and international agencies. Shinto John has been most generous in giving services to the cancer patients, even the underprivileged ones. He is familiar with project administration, project planning, soft skill trainings, community mobilization, social research and counselling.
Nelson Mathews
Nelson Mathews is one of the founder member and general secretary of Cancer Care Foundation. Professionally he is a hardware and network service Engineer and running business in IT field. He is also having a Post-Graduation in Sociology and become part of many social Commitment Programs.
Biju Antony
Senior Mental Health Practitioner, National Health service, Great Britain
Qualifications: MSW (CSRD, Ahmednagar), MSc in Applied Psychiatry (University of Manchester), MA in Health Research (Lancaster University). Previously worked as Social worker, Senior Social Worker in mental healthcare in the UK. Also worked in CASA (Church’s Auxiliary for Social Action) in Mumbai as Field Officer as well as at ARDSI (Alzheimer’s and Related Disorders Society of India) in Cochin as Project officer of Dementia care Project.
Shaiju TK
Founder member and Vice Chairman of the Cancer Care foundation. Currently he is designated as Manging partner of both ‘Build all and Cristal holdings’ at Kozhikode. He is sharing part of his earnings for the needy irrespective of caste, colour, creed or gender. Several years administered UNDP project implemented by Serve India, Kozhikode.
Shemil MA
Shemil MA is a businessman, investor and philanthropist and founder member of CCF from Kattapana, Idukki. He is post graduate in Personal Management from Pune University. He is the director of M/S D-Fine Lam and interiors(p)Ltd., Kattappana. He is married to Simi Jacob. The couple have four children.
Nithin Kumar
Over the years he initiated many welfare activities for the cancer patients in an adjacent area of Kozhikode. Professionally Nithin is a bank employee and having many years of experience in relevant sector.
Jithin N T
He is a professional social worker and currently working as a Social Development Specialist in Feroke Municipality Kozhikode(PMAY-LIFE Project). He is also having relevant experience in the field of Human Resource Development Trainings, Co-ordination and implementing projects through Kudumbashree Mission.As a Social Worker he is actively intervening in various community development activities…
